Dear Give Children Hope sponsors and friends,
We hope you are doing well.
The past month has been very successful as we are able to be a blessing to a young boy from Sua Elementary School. Give Children Hope started a fundraising to help Samuel Silerio. The 11-year-old boy is diagnosed with Nasoethmoidal encephalocele at birth and has lived with a growth on his face. He has been wanting to undergo surgery for his face tumor to be removed but money is not enough. The funds raised by Give Children Hope has allowed Sam’s family to finally push through with the operation. The 6-hour operation was done last September 11, 2019 and he was allowed to go home after a few days. He still needs to recover for a month before going back to school. He was so happy and very thankful for everyone who donated for his surgery. He endured all the pain as he looked forward to having a new and a better life.
This is Sam pictured on the center welcoming the Give Children Hope representatives when they visited his school last January.

We will be updating the album on Give Children Hope with Sam’s latest pictures. You may follow it through this link Give Children Hope.
Sam and his family are very grateful for everyone for the prayers and donation.
Meanwhile, another sponsored child wants to express her gratitude for the everyday meals for her shcool. Imma Velle del Rosario is a 3rd grader from Dugcal Elementary School. In her own words, she would like to express,
“A hot meal feeding every day is a big help to us. Our stomach is full of your delicious and nutritious feeding every morning. As a pupil of Dugacal Elementary School, I am very thankful and grateful for your big help and generosity, for the continuous feeding to us. Thank you very much. God bless you always.”
