We at GIVE CHILDREN HOPE believe there is no reason for a child anywhere to go hungry. GIVE CHILDREN HOPE’S critical MEALS AT SCHOOL PROGRAM for impoverished children living in poverty saves lives.

A GIVE CHILDREN HOPE child sponsorship gives a hungry child critical food, basic health and living needs and a chance to receive an education. So little can do so much. PLEASE HELP an impoverished boy or girl with a sponsorship!

We know from our experience (since 1977) that hungry children have difficulty learning. This is why stopping hunger is our #1 Goal for children living in poverty.

Give Children Hope programs emphasize the health, education and well being of children living in dire poverty. Our programs are designed to make lasting, positive changes in the lives of poor children, many of whom are suffering from the effects of hunger and malnutrition.

Donors or sponsors can be assured that their gifts of sponsorship funding will always be used exclusively for the needs of a child or a family suffering from the effects of extreme poverty. None of your donation dollars will be used for community projects that only indirectly help children.

When you give to Give Children Hope 100% of your donation goes directly to a child in need to help improve their quality of life.  All of our small administrative costs are covered by a few generous donors!

Give Children Hope has a 30 year track record of helping poor children in the 3rd world.  We are an organization of volunteers, no one receives a salary.  In contrast many help organizations give less than 50% of donated money to the poor, the rest goes to administrative costs including salaries and advertising.

Nearly 80% of all illnesses in impoverished countries can be traced back to lack of clean water. Safe housing and access to reliable water is vital to a child’s well being.

Our suggested sponsor contribution is $29 month yet of course we’ll be pleased to accept any donation amount.  Donations can also be provided online through JustGiving, or you can mail your tax deductible contributions as a check.

During the year 2010 Give Children Hope launched its exclusive Meals at School Programs for more than 500 impoverished Filipino children in two different school locations. The overwhelming majority of the children at these schools were suffering from devastating effects of hunger and poverty.

Our goal is to move from our present position of providing thousands of meals a day to one that will provide millions of meals a day to impoverished children worldwide.  Please help get meals to impoverished Filipino children.

UNICEF tells us that 10 million children under 5 die each year from causes that are easily preventable…starvation, disease. That’s 27,000 children who die EVERY DAY.

Of course it may seem challenging now to talk about saving the truly destitute in the world in the midst of our economic difficulties in the U.S. but we need to remember that even in our most trying times we are vastly better off than the 50% of the world that lives on less than $1 a day.
