Dear Give Children Hope sponsors and friends, 

How have you all been? We hope you had a wonderful 4th of July celebration which we know is a very important holiday in your country. 

Our July started off normal then came the typhoon days after. Several provinces cancelled their classes last week and this week to keep everyone safe.

Meanwhile, public schools in the Philippines are administering their quarterly summative exams this month and we are all rooting for our sponsored children that they will be able to answer the exams well. The children are really preparing for the exams and they take it seriously and likewise we make sure that they receive their daily hot and nutritious meals–thanks to all of you and to all the volunteers.

We know that kids who are fed well perform well in school and in their daily task. They are able to think better and are physically healthy to do their daily activities. One of our students from Sua Elementary School expresses her gratitude for the daily meals and for not letting them go hungry. She hopes that this will continue to feed more children
