Our Organization
Give Children Hope is a non-profit 501-C3 Organization of staff members and volunteers working in the U.S., the Philippines and Brazil. Our charity organization was found in 1977 by Dr. Don Cooper Sr., and is now managed by Don and Cathy Cooper and Dr. Doug Cooper.
Give Children Hope global programs lift children from lives of poverty, giving them hope with daily lifesaving food, education opportunities and daily living essentials. Our goal is to move from our present position of providing thousands of meals a day to one that will provide millions of meals a day to impoverished children worldwide.
Of course it may seem challenging now to talk about saving the truly destitute in the world in the midst of our economic difficulties in the U.S. but we need to remember that even in our most trying times we are vastly better off than the 50% of the world that lives on less than $1 a day.
Give Children Hope has a 30 year track record of helping poor children in the 3rd world. We are an organization of volunteers — no one receives a salary. This way we are able to give 100% of your donation directly to poor, needy children.

Critical Food
More than 27,000 children die everyday, mostly from preventable causes such as hunger-related malnutrition. We provide thousands of meals a day to impoverished children.

We believe that every child deserves a chance to receive an education. Our school programs focus on removing impediments to school attendance and keeping the child in school.
Health & Nutrition
Basic health care and proper nutrition is critical to alleviate the suffering of children living in dire poverty. Your donations and sponsorship provide vital support for children in need.
Living Improvements
Nearly 80% of all illnesses in impoverished countries can be traced back to lack of clean water. Safe housing and access to reliable water is vital to a child’s well being.
