Dear Give Children Hope sponsors and friends,
We hope you are having a great day as you read this letter. We only have one month before this school year ends. The start of the year may have been filled with national and global concerns but we are grateful for the wonderful school year and for your continuous help. Most students are now busy fulfilling some final requirements and school activities. The students in the area where classes were canceled due to the Taal Volcano eruption need to fulfill 5 Saturdays of make-up classes. This month’s feature student is from Dolores P. Tirador Elementary School. Flore Mae De Luna is an 8-year-old third-grader. Her parents, Junar and Divina work as a manager in a cooperative and a nurse in a public hospital, respectively. Flora Mae is very thankful that her school was chosen to receive the daily meals from Give Childern Hope. She is especially happy for the undernourished and underprivileged students in her school to receive this help. She hopes that the Meals at School Program will continue to feed more and the future students in her school.
Thank you so much for helping put a sweet smile on Flora Mae’s and other students’ faces. This is such a great memory of their school life that they will remember forever.
For the sponsored children,
