Dear Give Children Hope Sponsors and Friends,

We hope you are doing great and are in good health. We are down to the last quarter of this school year. Everyone’s effort is truly commendable. We recognize the patience and hard work of all our teachers, parents, and students. But we still hope that we can go back to face-to-face learning very soon. It also has started to rain and we are expecting 3 typhoons just for this month of June. On behalf of the sponsored children, we’d like to share with you a very heartfelt letter from Pearl Joy Gonzales, a student from Dugcal Elementary School.

Hi Every one! I am Pearl Joy Gonzales, writing this letter to you in behalf of Maravilla Elementary School to express my utmost gratitude and thanks to all that you have done to our school and community. Through the good times and even in this time of pandemic you have always been there for us, supporting and helping us, in this time of need. Thank you so much for soft and devoted heart, because having a 1st to 5th batch distribution of rice is an amazing act of kindness. We Maravillians are sincerely grateful for giving us hope that there are still generous and passionate people in this world. A million thanks for bringing colors to our lives and making our school a better place where smiles are painted in the lips of our parents. Sir Don, Sir Doug and Give Children Hope, you are one of the sweetest and most remarkable friends we have ever had. Thank you for being so generous, extraordinary, and good natured.
