Dear Give Children Hope Sponsors and Friends,

Things may still be the same for everyone around the world but we hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration and welcomed the last month of the year feeling wonderful.  Elementary and high school students are almost done with all the schoolwork that they need for this year. They will just have to send their outputs via online or hard copy for the teachers to check. We are so grateful for everyone’s patience as we adjust into this new learning mode.  We have missed a lot of school events this year and our Christmas celebration may also be very different. As you know, Filipinos are big on Christmas. It is always welcomed early and celebrated like a fiesta. Some cities in the country were again put to the 2nd strictest form of lock down. Family gatherings are discouraged and only people from 15-65 year old’s are allowed to go out. Things may be different but we are still so grateful to be able to survive this year and also for the people who sent help and prayed for us.

Zean Janelle Jabatan from Dolores P. Tirador Elementary School would like to thank all of you on behalf of all the sponsored children, parents, and volunteers. In her own words she says, “With the daily feeding you’ve given us, we could study well without worries of our stomach grumbling because of hot soup that is being provided for us… I am praying for the good health and more blessings to Give Children Hope USA in order to continue helping others. You’re such a blessing for us. Once again, thank you very much and God bless.” She is especially grateful that the meals at school has benefited especially those who are less fortunate learners who goes to school with empty stomachs because they didn’t have anything to eat or didn’t have money to buy food.

She sure misses being in school and having the hot meals again and they are all very thankful for the rice assistance that you sent to all the sponsored schools.  We hope that you will have a wonderful holidays. We are thankful to all of you for helping us survive this pandemic.
