Dear Give Children Hope Sponsors and Friends,

We hope you are enjoying your day as you receive this letter.

We all just came back to school from a 5-day Holy Week holiday, and our return to school was welcomed with a change of schedule to free the students from the harsh summer heat. Though some local governments have announced a shift to asynchronous classes as they receive weather updates on high heat indexes, the Department of Education has officially announced that school heads can modify school schedules according to local situations. Some schools will just allow 6 a.m.–12 p.m. school hours for both the morning and afternoon shifts so the students can be home during the hours with the highest heat index. Sooner, the school calendar will be reverted to the pre-pandemic schedule, and April–May will be summer vacations again.

Another news we are excited to tell is you is about the distribution of blender bottles for the students of Sua Elementary School last March 15. Trove Brands, Lynn and Dale Leishman, and Cooper families have been working together for many years to provide blender bottles to the students of Sua, Maravilla, Dolores, and Dugcal Elementary Schools. These blender bottles have been very useful as the children use them to store clean drinking water and even the hot soups from the daily feeding.

We are so grateful for all the things the Give Children Hope and its sponsors provide for all the children and on behalf of the sponsored children,  Niel Christopher Suficiencia of Dolores P. Tirador Elementary School would like to express his gratitude to all of you for your help throughout the years.

Thank you for all that you do!
