Dear Give Children Hope Sponsors and Friends,

The first day of December was welcomed with a typhoon. Schools in the areas affected by the Typhoon Kammuri-mostly in the Visayas, Bicol, and Metro Manila- have suspended their classes since Monday. We pray that this typhoon will spare the livelihood, homes, and lives of the people in the areas directly hit.

Only two weeks to go before the Christmas break and the schools are preparing for their year-end parties. It was such a great year for every one of us and there is a lot to be thankful for.

On behalf of the sponsored children, Jewel P. Salon would like to express gratitude for the wonderful year you have given us.

She is the third child of four children. Her parents both work in a bakery with her father being a baker and her mother as a bread packer. She is grateful that her school – Dugcal Elementary School – was chosen as a beneficiary of the Meals at School Program of Give Children Hope.

In her own words, she expressed, ” Thank you for the feeding and for the food that we eat. Also for sharing your blessing and for your kindness to us. I am sure you are always happy because you are kind. Thank you and may God bless you all day.” 
It is really the kindness that makes a person happy. Thank you so much for cheerfully and generously sharing what you have to the sponsored children in the Philippines.
