Regine Pineda is a graduate of Maravilla Elementary School in Pototan, Iloilo. She is one of the students that received everyday meals through the Meals at School Program of Give Children Hope. She is the youngest in the family of 7 and her parents work as farmers. She and her siblings all help to cultivate their land so they could get more produce. She wishes to become a teacher someday so that she can help children reach their dreams. In her own words, she described the Meals at School Program as “the best”. She loves the macaroni soup because it gives her energy throughout the day. We hope that Regine will continue to study hard as she pursues a higher education and becomes a teacher someday so that she can help the children she wishes to help.

Regine is only one of the children that the Meals at School Program of Give Children Hope has fed. The program continues to feed nearly 2,000 school children everyday. 100% of sponsor donations go directly to feed the children in the Dugcal & Sua Elementary Schools in Camarines Sur and Maravilla and Dolores Tirador Elementary Schools in Iloilo. Pictures and updates of the Meals at School Program are regularly uploaded to the Give Children Hope Facebook page.
