Dear Give Children Hope sponsors and friends,

We hope you are all having a great day as you receive this letter. 

The month of August was such a busy but fulfilling month for all the children in our schools. We celebrated our National Language Month which was filled with school activities like parades while the students are wearing their national and traditional costumes and many other activities. Though some school days were canceled due to typhoon, it was still such a fruitful month. The students also had their quarterly exam this month of August and the second quarter starts this September. We hope that this month will also be a fruitful month for us though we expect more rains and typhoons to come. 

Likewise, we are so thankful for the daily meals that you continue to provide for the children. A hot and nutritious meal surely makes them feel warm and refreshed after a day of school activities. John Paulo Perocho of Dolores P Tirador Elementary School wants to express his gratitude for all that you have been sharing to all the children.
